    Przemek Skweres

    Hi, yesterday my software center noticed me that I have one update (bumblebee-nvidia 375.20-1.fc24). When I make this update my graphics stop working, I can’t run apps with primusrun. I have to unninstall everything with nvidia* and bumblebee* and install drivers with Hardware Helper once again. Now everything works but I still have that notification from software center (“dnf update” in terminal don’t show any updates). How to disable that notification?

    please help,
    Regards Przemek

    Hi Przemek,

    Gnome Software uses the packagekit API instead of dnf therefore it has a different package cache. You can force packagekit to refresh either by trying the refresh button in the top-left corner of the Updates view of Gnome Software or by running the following in a terminal;
    $ pkcon refresh force
